These computer system labs will serve to lower spaces in access to gadgets and the Web by providing public computer access for people with disabilities, Marylanders without long-term house (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning citizens. The program offers grants of approximately $65,000 for up to 100% for the development, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The funding source for the program is the American Rescue Strategy Act of 2021 and all federal rules required of the financing use to the program. The Maryland Office of Statewide Broadband is making up to around $11.8 million offered through Connect Maryland's Network Facilities Grant Program Round 2.
