These computer system labs will serve to lower spaces in access to devices and the Web by providing public computer system access for people with specials needs, Marylanders without long-term residence (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning residents. The program supplies grants of as much as $65,000 for approximately 100% for the creation, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The financing source for the program is the American Rescue Strategy Act of 2021 and all federal guidelines required of the financing apply to the program. The Maryland Office of Statewide Broadband is making up to approximately $11.8 million available through Link Maryland's Network Infrastructure Grant Program Round 2.
